Challenge
Each year, the Ohio Regional Urban Sketchers Summit takes place in a new location, bringing artists together to capture the essence of their surroundings. This year, the event is set in my hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio, and the local chapter sought support in designing a custom mark to represent the occasion.
Solution
An original mark was designed to pay homage to Cincinnati—where pigs can fly! The logo needed to capture both the spirit of the city and the essence of sketching. The final design blends hand-drawn elements with graphic illustrations, seamlessly incorporating a pencil as a nod to the art form itself.
